Founded in 1972, the Arbor Day Foundation’s mission is simple: we inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. This mission is the driving force behind all of our work in community forestry, large-scale forest restoration, rain forest preservation, disaster recovery, and education.
We are proud to be the largest nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to planting trees. The impact we make is possible thanks to more than 1 million members and corporate partners as well as a strong global network of dedicated programmatic partners.
