We view soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change. By supporting the development of places to play, places to grow, and places to learn, our goal is to ensure that children in underserved communities have easy and affordable access to quality soccer programs that support their physical and personal development.
At the U.S. Soccer Foundation, we tackle challenges facing communities to help children reach their full potential and live healthy, productive lives. We focus our efforts where the need is greatest – underserved communities where family income, race, and gender are factors that can limit opportunities to enjoy the health and social benefits of well-designed soccer programming. To date, we’ve engaged more than 500,000 youth in our proven programs, trained 10,000 coach-mentors and educators, and installed 500+ safe places to play in underserved communities.
