Our Mission

The Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism (PVCEB) serves as the U.S. governance and charitable body for Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village sangha. It supports and represents the tradition’s monasteries and publishing (e.g., Deer Park Monastery, Blue Cliff, Magnolia Grove, Parallax Press), and raises funds and resources to preserve and share the teachings and community practice of Engaged Buddhism.
