Tomaquag Memorial Indian Museum

Our Mission

The museum preserves, interprets, and shares the history, culture, arts, and archival materials of Indigenous peoples of southern New England (with a particular emphasis on the Narragansett and neighboring communities). It operates exhibitions, educational programs, and community initiatives (including an Indigenous Empowerment Center) to educate the public, promote cultural understanding, and support Indigenous-led learning and empowerment.
