Our Mission

Our primary function of the sanctuary is to house and care for birds who have been surrendered by owners or other facilities for various reasons. Some have been abused, abandoned, under-nourished or – most recently with the declining economy – many people need to place their birds in sanctuary. In addition to caring for over 500 birds (as of June 2014), we hope to expand our program to include educational opportunities for children of all ages, activities and community service programs for interest groups such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4H Clubs and environmental organizations.We have been providing this care for over 10 years. We are a federal 501(3)c not-for-profit organization #26-3406204 and a Washington State registered charities #32440.
