New Beginnings Educational Center

Our Mission

Every child deserves a safe and fun place to learn and play year-round.

The reality is, for many families in underprivileged and underserved communities, this place is simply out of reach. New Beginnings Educational Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping at-risk youth from grades Kindergarten through 12th since 2002 in Montgomery, Alabama. Through tutoring, mentoring, nutrition and wellness programs, summer camps, athletics, violence prevention training, leadership development strategies, character education, school promotion and graduation, New Beginnings is improving the community by reducing school drop-outs, juvenile delinquency, truancy, and health inequalities.
