Mission

As of yet, no comprehensive treatment program has been developed to effectively treat our fellow veterans. Under the leadership of Zach Iscol, a combat decorated former Marine officer and Iraq veteran of the Battle of Fallujah, and Program Director Dr. Ann Beeder, a leading psychiatric and public health expert, we have launched a long term project to provide cost-free, stigma-free, and bureaucracy-free mental healthcare to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans with care being delivered at Weill Cornell Medical College.

This program brings together leading research scientists and clinicians in PTSD to develop a manual, treatment program, curriculum, and certification program to train, develop, implement and fund a nationwide network of mental healthcare providers who can treat Iraq and Afghanistan veterans especially in rural areas outside the reach of the VA. Concurrently, through partnerships with Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran Service organizations, we are recruiting veterans and active duty and reserve service members in need to receive care free of charge.
