Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles (CBMLA) mentors and supports African‑American youth in Los Angeles through one‑to‑one and group mentoring, educational support (tutoring, scholarships, college preparation) and leadership programs aimed at strengthening families and neighborhoods. Their programs (for example “Welcome to Manhood,” “Welcome to Womanhood,” and “Emerging Leaders”) focus on character, education and community development to reduce violence and promote long‑term success for Black youth.
