Our Impact
over 2 years ago — Strengthening Families Graduation - Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center
Anuvia provides several cohorts per year of the Strengthening Families program and Positive Parenting program to families that may be impacted by substance use or who just want to learn more about meaningful and positive communications, consistent and effective parenting, boundary-setting, conflict resolution, and other skills that help families support each other and work well together. Anuvia staff attended the APNC Conference in fall 2023 to share information about our new designation as a candidate for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. In FY 2022-23 Anuvia directly served nearly 9,000 unique individuals with treatment and prevention services.
CMS Drug Education Program
Anuvia provides numerous drug education and prevention programs to CMS schools and private schools in Charlotte. We also teach social and emotional learning and mental health supports for adolescents and teens and serve as a site-based mental health provider for CMS.
