Cedar Springs Waldorf School is private, co-educational,and non-sectarian educational institution, established in 1989 and located in Placerville, CA. The school serves approximately 170 students who range from preschool to eighth grade. The stated mission of the school is to:Inspire our students to reach their highest potential as free-thinking, creative human beings who have a life-long love of learning.This mission is accomplished through the following means:a) Providing a full elementary Waldorf curriculum. Instruction given according to the Rudolph Steiner method, which emphasizes the importance of imagination and experience in learning.b) Sponsoring special events, such as seasonal festivals, school plays, and public lectures.c) Promoting Waldorf education in our local community.
