Guelph Community Christian School is committed to providing educational quality, for JK through Grade 8, that exceeds public standards while integrating Christian beliefs and values.
At GCCS, the Christian component is part of every subject. The Bible is a guide for all of our programs as we seek to understand God's sovereignty over all human endeavours, and to respond in humility and service.
We challenge our students to be changed by the Spirit of God from the inside out, and then to change the world around them.
We make learning real through the use of Project-Based Learning. We teach peace-making through the Restorative Practices model for school relationships. We also put our mission into practice by collecting for the Salvation Army Toy Drive, Hope House Food Drive, and the Bracelet of Hope; sorting food at the Speroway warehouse, cleaning neighbourhood parks, planting trees in neighbourhood settings, etc.
