Liberty Lane Inc. is a charitable organization, offering a Second Stage Housing Program and a Family Violence Prevention Outreach Program to women and children who have experienced family violence. Second Stage Housing is a one year program - women have their own apartments with affordable rent in our building and work on goals, healing and moving on. Outreach services are out in the community - providing self-development and self-help groups. Supporting women who are in or who are leaving an abusive relationship by linking them to resources, accompanying them to appointments and safety planning. Children who have been exposed to family violence in their home can attend our "Moving Forward" program that teaches safety planning, emotions, boundary setting and healthy behaviours. Mothers attend a concurrent group to find out what their children are learning in order to support that at home.
