Wings of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a Calgary-based charity that provides financial assistance to Breast Cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. The majority of assistance is used to pay for basic needs including groceries, medication, utilities, rent and other fundamental living expenses.
Additionally, the Foundation provides support to related programs which assist patients in various psychosocial elements of their healing.
The charity is entirely volunteer run and has minimal overhead expenses.
