he Marguerite Centre is the only facility of its kind in Nova Scotia for women recovering from addictions and abuse. It is a place where holistic therapies such as reiki, yoga, acupuncture, journal writing and healing circle are as prevalent as conventional therapies; a place where nature and spirituality hold an integral place in the journey.
Located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, The Marguerite Centre is staffed 24 hours a day. Residents receive their own room, can live here for up to a year, and are empowered to create their own path to healing and recovery. Counsellors work with residents to develop positive personal and family plans and goals.
