The Shambhala School was founded in 1993 on the educational view that human beings are inherently good and have the ability to take genuine delight in learning. We believe that all students possess natural intelligence and curiosity.
The role of a school and the teachers is to create an uplifted learning environment that acknowledges and cultivates these qualities. The student’s full potential can then blossom through the development of intellect, intuition, humour and self-confidence.
Shambhala School is a non-denominational day school with a student body of 150 in grades PrePrimary through 12, guided by a faculty of 18 teachers and a Director.
