Optometry Giving Sight raises funds for sustainable vision care services for people who are blind or vision impaired due to uncorrected refractive error. It funds projects in the developing world that provide long term delivery of eye care services, training of locals and building of eye care infrastructure.
85% of every donated (and tax deductible) dollar goes directly to the project fund. Optometry Giving Sight is the International Charity of Choice of both the AAO and the CAO.
