Pledge to make a difference, together.
Founded in 1989, SAS provides an opportunity for young women to adopt a healthy lifestyle and reintegrate back into society. The SAS Program first addresses the Participants’ immediate basic needs. Homelessness, addiction, abuse and mental health are examples of current issues that can prevent an individual from leaving an unhealthy lifestyle. Immediate safe and affordable housing is provided for every Participant. One of the defining services of SAS is our onsite babysitting service for those with young children or with child allowing the Participants to attend counseling and daily program activities.
The SAS Program emphasizes treatment of the whole person. We provide education in basic life skills, such as budgeting, parenting, basic academic and employment skills. SAS Program also includes recovery skills that support relapse prevention, anger management, and overall self-esteem.
