LRWC has Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. On the 56th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, LRWC was awarded the Renate Shearer award “for their exceptional work in promoting international standards aimed at protecting the rights and the work of human rights advocates world wide.”
