Feed‑Well Fridges runs a network of free, publicly accessible community refrigerators in Chatham County to reduce food insecurity and divert perfectly good commercial food from the landfill. The organization rescues unsold/prepared food from restaurants and grocery partners, prepares and packages microwavable meals, and stocks fridges (with volunteer support and farm/restaurant partners) so neighbors in need can take food without eligibility barriers.
