Shepherds Without Borders is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and is 100% volunteer/donation driven. We are based in the Pacific Northwest of the United States; currently active in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Northern California. All of the German Shepherds placed through Shepherds Without Borders Rescue are assessed for temperament before being accepted. While this is no guarantee of future behavior, it does help us understand how the dog responds to new situations, which can help give our adopters peace of mind regarding the stability of the dogs rescue. We accept owner surrenders of good temperament and our trained volunteers scour shelters in selected areas for the casually discarded, but good dogs who, through no fault of their own, find themselves homeless.

Rescue of English BulldogsWe offer new beginnings for English Bulldogs that are homeless, abandoned or surrendered. Some come from cruelty; some from ambivalence. Some Bulldogs come to us simply because an owner is elderly or sick and can no longer care for a much-loved pet, or there has been a divorce, job loss or illness in the family. The Bulldog Rescue Network is also a resource for people hoping to bring an English Bulldog into their lives. Whether you will open your heart and provide temporary housing and care (fostering) to a recently rescued Bulldog, or wish to provide a rescued Bulldog a forever home, the Bulldog Rescue Network extends to almost every state in the U.S.
