Humane Colorado, formerly the Dumb Friends League, established in 1910, is a national leader in animal welfare. Helen Woodward Animal Center is a private, non-profit organization serving San Diego County where "people help animals and animals help people." With 14 unique programs all dedicated to that mission, the Center provides lifesaving rescue and medical care to thousands of orphan pets yearly, animal assisted therapy to children and adults in need, and humane education to thousands of children, teaching them about the importance of fostering the animal-human bond.

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is a charitable 501(c)3 organization caring for over 5,000 animals each year to help them find second chances in a new home or to help reunite them with their grateful owners. For more than 70 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to care for the sick, treat the injured, comfort the unwanted, and protect the abused. We also offer human-animal support resources, low-cost veterinary services, animal control programs, and animal cruelty and humane law investigation throughout Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Foothills Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing support to our surrounding community through education, services that strengthen the human-pet bond, and humane care for the animals we serve. As a loyal companion of Foothills Animal Shelter, the Friends of Foothills Animal Shelter's sole purpose is to raise direct support for the Shelter and its important mission of saving lives. Friends of Foothills Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (FEIN 46-2809962). Any donation made helps the homeless pets at Foothills Animal Shelter and is tax-deductible.

AAR believes all companion animals deserve to be treated humanely. Its mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats, and to place them in permanent homes for the duration of their lives and to properly educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

The mission of the SPCA is to create a caring and kind community that encourages fair and humane treatment of all creatures. Our knowledgeable, caring, and open-minded team of staff and volunteers achieves that mission through proactive efforts to address the current status of animals in our community, education of adults and children, rescue and sheltering of animals in need, and placement of animals into appropriate homes.

Endangered Species International (ESI) is strongly committed to reversing the trend of human-induced species extinction, saving endangered animals, and preserving wild places! ESI uses less than 2% of its budget for management and operations. ESI won multiple Top-Rated Awards from GreatNonprofits and has reached the Platinum participation level through the GuideStar Exchange.

The mission of PAWS Atlanta is to build a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. We are a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1966, originally as the DeKalb Humane Society. We provide love, nutrition, medical care and basic training to enrich the lives of homeless animals until permanent, safe homes can be found.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), is a non-profit organization created in July 2005 to take over the operations of the city shelter and to work directly with Baltimore City Animal Control. We take in homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals in Baltimore City. BARCS' mission is to accept and care for all animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership for a more humane community in Baltimore City.

We are an equine rescue whose large ambitions include rescuing horses and donkeys from the feed lots who would otherwise be shipped across the border to be slaughtered for human consumption and use. We provide them with medical attention and most importantly, finding them the loving homes they deserve. Furthermore, we use different community programs to further rehabilitate the horses, who in return help to rehabilitate the individuals in these programs.
