The Frisco Humane Society (FHS) is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused or unwanted animals. We strive to provide caring, responsible homes for these animals. We endeavor to reduce animal overpopulation through spay or neuter and to prevent cruelty to animals. It is our hope and dream that someday there will be no unwanted animals and that the animals will no longer need our advocacy. Frisco Humane Society is an all-volunteer, foster home based, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in Frisco and the surrounding communities. FHS provides temporary foster care and medical attention for homeless animals until permanent homes can be found. Wellington Humane Society is a no‑kill 501(c)(3) serving Sumner County that rescues, cares for, and places homeless dogs and cats into responsible homes. The organization also offers community programs (low‑cost spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccination clinics and education) and relies primarily on donations and volunteers to reduce pet overpopulation and support animal welfare.

Funding for support services for abandoned animals comes from the generosity of donors, adoption fees and from the proceeds of a second hand store we operate.
