The Peoples Animal Welfare Society of Tinley Park is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to the protection of domestic animals and to the attempt to prevent animal cruelty in the surrounding communities.

We provide help and comfort to those dogs who are being released from breeders for any reason, surrendered dogs who the owners can no longer care for, and dogs who are place on euthanasia lists in shelters. We educate the public on the importance of altering their pets, preventing euthanasia, and the need to rescue abandoned pets. Finally, we provide support for senior dogs, hospice dogs, cruelty prevention, and assistance during emergencies.

TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR VETERINARY CARE FOR DOGS OR OTHER DOMESTIC PETS IN NEED AND TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE ANIMAL RESCUE AND SERVICE ANIMAL TRAINING ORGANIZATIONS.

The Union County Humane Society is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals through sheltering, medical attention, humane care, sterilization, education and legislation and re-homing of unwanted pets.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO CARE FOR AND PLACE HOMELESS ANIMALS, PREVENT THE CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, ENCOURAGE KINDNESS TOWARD ANIMALS AND TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS IN MOULTRIE, GEORGIA AND THE COUNTY OF COLQUITT GEORGIA.
