The Humane Society of Sullivan County, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to the education of the public in the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the importance of animal control through the promotion of spaying and neutering. Sullivan Humane Society strives to find proper placement for all the lost, stray, and abandoned animals of Sullivan County.

The Humane Society of Forsyth County, Georgia is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humane treatment for animals. We strive to: - Save homeless dogs and cats- Educate pet owners- Reduce pet over-population.

"The Lake City, Columbia County Humane Society (“LCHS”) was incorporated as a 501 C-3 non-profit corporation in 1964. The purposes of LCHS are to promote and advance humane treatment and wellbeing of animals and to educate the community about the Humane Society’s efforts. LCHS operates an animal adoption center and accepts lost, abandoned and neglected animals in partnership with the City of Lake City and Columbia County Code Enforcement."
