The Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League is organized for the charitable purpose as a rescue organization whose mission is to place all rescued/surrendered adoptable companion animals into loving homes and to prevent the overpopulation of unwanted animals.

To provide a high quality "stay-for-life" animal sanctuary, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of mistreated and abandoned animals, to promote the prevention of animal mistreatment through quality educational programs and events, and to advocate the preservation of wildlife habitat.

OUR MISSION IS THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS , LESSEN THE BURDEN ON OUR COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL BY SUPPORTING THEIR EFFORTS AND TO REDUCE THE RATE OF EUTHANASIA OF UNWANTED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS IN OUR COMMUNITY THRU EDUCATION WITH COMPASSION IN OUR COMMUNITY AND SCHOOLS.

The purpose of the Society shall be to provide shelter, prevent cruelty to animals, and advocate for their welfare. Through humane education, the Society strives to enlighten the public with the goal of improving the quality of life for animals and people primarily within our community.

Prevention of cruelty to animals; animal rescue aiming to reduce the number of unwanted pets on the streets through rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in new homes, as well as reducing the crisis of overpopulation in street animals through spay and neuter campaigns.

The Humane Society of the High Plains operates a no-kill animal shelter serving Hays, Ellis County and surrounding areas; it provides temporary shelter, adoption and foster placement, public education, and works to prevent cruelty and coordinate animal control.

The mission of the HSMC is to provide shelter, medical care and comfort to stray and surrendered dogs and cats while working to secure them appropriate homes. To educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the need for spaying and neutering to prevent overpopulation.

To engage a special bond between people and animals by means of adoption services, medical care, education and training for the prevention of cruelty and abandonment. A safe place, where animals will remain in our care until they are placed in a qualified, forever home.

Our mission is to prevent cruelty, abuse, and negligence of animals and to promote the humane treatment of all animals by educating the general public, establishing subsidized spay and neuter programs, providing shelter to lost and homeless animals and promoting pet adoption.

Mission of Shelby Shelter Non-Profit is to prevent animals from ending up in a pro-euthanasia shelters, rescue animals that are in pro-euthanasia shelters, rescue strays, provide healthcare to the sick, and provide overpopulation assistance by means of spay/neutering.

The Orange County Bird of Prey Center is a volunteer organization dedicated to: Education: the best long-term solution to prevent and mitigate many of the dangers that raptors face is education. Rehabilitation: treating and rehabilitating injured raptors. Release: returning them to the wild.

Antietam Humane Society works to prevent cruelty and improve the well‑being of animals in its community by providing shelter, adoption services, low‑cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, microchipping, education, and outreach to keep pets and people together.
