Take Paws Rescue is a volunteer, foster‑based 501(c)(3) that rescues dogs from overcrowded or at‑risk shelters in Louisiana, places them into foster homes for vetting and socialization, and works to rehome them through adoption and partnerships with other rescues.

The mission of Sammie's Friends is to provide medical care for the animals at the Nevada County animal shelter, making them adoptable, and to support other disadvantaged animals in Nevada County that, without help, would continue to suffer or would be euthanized.

Helping Community Paws and Claws (HCPC) works to reduce animal overpopulation in Logan County by providing spay/neuter services, TNR (trap–neuter–return) for feral cats, adoptions, and community education. They operate largely on donations and volunteer support to prevent suffering and place animals in homes.

Animal Nation is a non-profit Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Facility, Farm Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, and Domestic Animal Rescue & Adoption Center located in Westchester, NY & Norwalk, CT with a mission to eliminate cruelty to animals while spreading compassion into the hearts of all beings. For 20 years Animal Nation has been the go-to resource in Westchester, Rockland, Fairfield, and surrounding counties when it comes to wildlife, farm animals, and cats in need, receiving about 8,000 calls per-year.

The Pongo Fund works to prevent animal hunger and keep pets with their families by providing emergency pet food, veterinary-care referrals, and mobile/emergency services. Its volunteer-driven pet food bank and related programs focus on keeping animals safe, healthy, and out of shelters when families are facing hardship.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. The League is an animal sheltering and welfare organization focused on community responsiveness, professional animal care, dynamic education, compatible adoptions and a philosophy of compassion in all we do.
