The Humane Society of Sonoma County (formerly Sonoma Humane Society) was founded in 1931. Our mission is to ensure every animal receives protection, compassion, love and care. We have two facilities located in the County of Sonoma: one in Santa Rosa and another in Healdsburg.

Over 40 years later, TLHS is still providing adoption options to our community and has expanded our lifesaving programs in an effort to make a larger impact on animal welfare in Lee County and surrounding areas. The Tupelo Lee Humane Society’s mission is to promote humane treatment, prevent cruelty, provide education, and end pet overpopulation.
