The Iowa County Humane Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded on the principle of maintaining a no-kill philosophy towards animal shelters. We are dedicated to making our communities more humane places for all animals by providing shelter and care to animals in need, helping our communities discover and nurture the human-animal bond through education, being a voice for those who have none through animal welfare advocacy, and working towards a world where every animal has a loving home through progressive and innovative programs. We believe that all animals deserve a chance for a loving home for life.

The Grand Strand Humane Society (GSHS) takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control. We are committed to the care and humane treatment of all homeless and abandoned animals in the Myrtle Beach Metropolitan Area. When we made the decision to step out of the cookie-cutter style of shelters and stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space, it was the right decision and we felt the only option for the GSHS. The decision did increase our financial struggle, but we will continue finding every healthy, adoptable animal a forever family as long as it is financially feasible. We are further committed to providing excellent guest service to people visiting our facilities in the hope that all our animals can find caring and loving homes. We also work at educating our community about responsible pet ownership and finally, to investigate and attempt to prevent cruelty to all animals. We strive to provide all communities within our area with cost-effective adoption rates as well as spay/neutering and preventative healthcare services.

THE MISSION OF OCHS IS TO PROVIDE HUMANE ANIMAL EDUCATION, PROMOTE ANIMAL WELFARE LEGISLATION, ADVOCATE FOR AND FACILITATE PET STERILIZATION AND RESCUE, SHELTER AND PROMOTE ADOPTION OF ABANDONED ANIMALS.

The mission of Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, rehabilitate, provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and find loving homes for Central Arkansas dogs and cats in need.

It is the mission of Humane Society of the Lakes to provide services for abandoned, stray or unwanted animals while they await lifelong homes.Our vision is that all animals are cared for with dignity and respect.

The Sarnia & District Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to finding new forever homes, & caring for lost, lonely & forgotten animals of Sarnia Lambton.
