Central Arizona Animal Rescue serves the community by rescuing, caring for, rehabilitating and placing rescued animals with new owners that would otherwise be euthanized. We spay or neuter all animals that are adopted, ending the cycle of additional unwanted animals. We also promote yearly vaccinations of all animals which prevents disease and the possible destruction of sick animals.

The mission of Equine Advocates is to rescue, protect and prevent the abuse of horses through education, investigation, rescue operations, the dissemination of information to the public and the operation of a 173-acre horse sanctuary for slaughter-bound, abused and neglected equines. Founded in 1996, Equine Advocates is currently home to 80+ rescued horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules (and two Nigerian Dwarf goats)!

The Humane Society of Sullivan County, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to the education of the public in the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the importance of animal control through the promotion of spaying and neutering. Sullivan Humane Society strives to find proper placement for all the lost, stray, and abandoned animals of Sullivan County.

Liberty Humane Society focuses on providing affordable, accessible preventive veterinary care (low‑cost spay/neuter, vaccines, parasite control, microchipping and basic wellness services) to help keep pets healthy and in their homes; the organization has pivoted from operating as a municipal animal‑control shelter toward community veterinary services and low‑cost clinic care.

We provide services that address financial hardships, medical problems and behavioral challenges to enable animals to stay in their homes or be adopted.

The mission of Citizens for Animal Rescue and Emergencies is the prevention of cruelty to animals and the relief of suffering among animals and to promote the best interests of the animals. In addition, C.A.R.E. encourages proper and humane practices by owners, dealers, humane organizations and all others associated with animals, their breeders, their trainers and their fanciers. C.A.R.E. encourages the adoption of laws, rules, ordinances or legislation found by the Organization to be in the best interest for the animals.

SPIN is an all volunteer non-profit which provides care for strays pets under the jurisdicition of animal control officers, above what is paid for by cities and towns for the prevention o cruelty to animals. To provide sheltering, veterinary care and humane education. To work with appropriate agencies and provide temporary care for pets displaced due to domestic violence, elder or child abuse.

(1) Prevent cruelty to animals by reducing the number of unwanted pet litters taken to our local kill shelters. (2) Save as many animals from our local kill shelters as possible through our successful fostering adoption program. (3) Provide financial assistance to low income families for surgery costs to sterilize companion pets working at ground zero.

Adopt a Golden Atlanta is a volunteer, nonprofit it organization dedicated to finding warm, loving permanent homes for Golden Retrievers in order to prevent them from becoming strays or adding to the shelter overpopulation. Golden Retrievers, regardless of medical needs or age, will receive comprehensive evaluation; spay/neutering services, veterinary care, behavioral training if required, and safe passage into a permanent loving home.

It is the mission statement of Where the Love Is, Inc. to aid in the prevention of the abuse and cruelty of animals, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, by promoting the adoption of abandoned and unwanted pets; providing medical attention, including spaying and neutering, when required; and other activities that are in accordance with the charitable, religious, educational and/or scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3).

Springfield Humane Society operates a regional animal shelter serving southern Windsor County, providing temporary shelter and medical/behavioral care for stray and surrendered animals and facilitating adoptions. The organization also runs low‑cost spay/neuter clinics, a pet food pantry and owner‑assistance programs, and engages in cruelty prevention and community outreach to reduce animal overpopulation.
