ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION INC - TERRYVILLE

The Mission Statement of Animal Rescue Foundation, when humanely and financially feasible is to: Rescue, house, feed, clean and medicate stray, abandoned, injured, neglected and abused dogs, cats, puppies and kittens; spay and neuter when feasible (considering age and physical condition of the animal); rehabilitate the animals and find suitable, caring, permanent homes. Be and remain a non-destroy organization, where animals accepted into the shelter by ARF will remain the sole responsibility of ARF. Prevent cruelty to, and to promote the humane treatment of animals. Assist individuals with challenges concerning animals. Raise funds to support the work of the organization. Guide the public in humane and proper care of animals.

Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue

Also known as SHIBA SCOUT RESCUE Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue (COSIR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of Shiba Inus, and Shiba Inu mixes, in Colorado. While in rescue, all our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given heartworm prevention, and any/all veterinary care necessary to ensure they are healthy and ready for their forever homes. We also provide post-adoption training for our younger dogs, and maintain a lifelong relationship of support with our alumni. We have an all volunteer staff who donate their free time to saving Shibas because of their love and appreciation for the breed.

SPCA Florida exists to eliminate animal suffering and to enhance the human-animal bond by engaging the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals. Dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in the community, SPCA Florida provides caring, compassion, and hope to more than 4,000 homeless animals entering our doors each year.

To rescue and provide sanctuary for equines and farm animals who have been abused, neglected, or in danger, to restore them to health, to educate the public, and affection to animals, and to prevent abuse and neglect of animals.Double D Bar Ranch is devoted to improving the lives of companion animals in our community and finding permanent and forever adoptive homes for the animals in our care. We provide a haven for animals in transition, serve as advocates for animals, educate the public about compassion and loyalty towards all animals. Our shelter is a no-kill facility where all incoming animals are evaluated, medically treated, and rehabilitated. Double D Bar Ranch is operated entirely by unpaid volunteers and through contributions.

TippedEars is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose purpose is to combat cat overpopulation through humane TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). By reducing the overall cat population, fewer cats will need to be euthanized in shelters for space, and there will not be as many kittens dying on the streets. There are not enough adoptive homes to support the growing cat population. In order to solve this problem, TippedEars believes it is essential to fight the root of the problem – prevent the excess of kittens born each year. Humane TNR is the most effective solution to solving cat overpopulation in our society and improve each cats' quality of life. While in our care, community cats will be sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea treated.

Motley Mutts Rescue

Motley Mutts Rescue is a registered 501c3 and works primarily with rescuers in MS who have no local shelter or have a shelter that provides below minimum care to the dogs they house. Most of our rescue partners work out of their homes, fostering homeless dogs within their community until they can get them into loving homes.Motley Mutts Rescue provides veterinary care, as well as food, vaccines, wormer, preventatives, and other basic needs. When we have funding we also provide and help maintain housing for the dogs while in Mississippi, since there is no community facility or kennels that don’t meet standard levels of care for the dogs in the county.

Toronto Humane Society

Our mission at The Toronto Humane Society is to promote the humane care and protection of all animals and to prevent cruelty and suffering. The day-to-day operation of the THS involves the direct handling of lost, abandoned, unwanted and injured pets. In any given year, approximately 10,000 animals pass through the shelter, which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The injured receive veterinary care; abandoned animals are given a safe haven. Immature and injured animals are placed in foster care until they are strong enough to be placed for adoption. The Toronto Humane Society is supported solely by individual and corporate donations - we do not receive government funding of any kind.

Milos Sanctuary And Special Needs Cat Rescue

Milo's Sanctuary is a no-kill special needs cat rescue. We take in those that are blind, have physical disabilities, are seniors, have been abused or are suffering from a terminal illness. These special needs often prevent them from being adopted into a “normal” home. For these cats, we provide a Lifetime Care Program by giving them a permanent home and any medical care that they may need to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a safe, loving and healthy environment. To ensure that these cats receive everything they need for quality of life we have a sponsorship program where anyone can sponsor one of our Lifetime Care Cats.

Homeless Animals Rescue Team

HART is a non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue/support group, incorporated in 1990, that takes in and rehomes abused and unwanted dogs and cats. HART works with local veterinarians, foster homes, kennels, and trainers to provide temporary housing, medical care and, where appropriate, training for our animals until s/he is placed in a loving, carefully-screened new home. HART takes in older, sick, and injured animals as well as the readily adoptable and never takes just the pups and kittens, leaving mom behind. We seek to direct our resources where they are most needed and to alleviate or prevent suffering wherever we find it.
