The mission of the Chenango SPCA is to provide and promote care, compassion and respect for our animals and our community.

TO PROVIDE LONG-TERM HUMAN AND ANIMAL SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF YORK COUNTY THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT FIND PERMANENT, LOVING HOMES FOR DISPLACED ANIMALS, HELP CONTROL ANIMAL POPULATION GROWTH, INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE CRUELTY OFFENDERS AND EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT ANIMAL WELLNESS AND SAFETY.

The SPCA Swift Current operates an Animal Shelter for the rescue of animals and the re-housing of unwanted,found or impounded animals, mainly cats and dogs with an occasional rabbit, rague or guinea pig.
