The Houston SPCA, founded in 1924, is Houston’s first and largest animal protection organization and shelter. Our mission is to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation.

The Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Ohio SPCA), formerly known as the Ohio Humane Education Association (OHEA), was formed in 1983 to end the needless killing of homeless animals and to bring an end to animal cruelty. In order to bring this dream to reality, the  Ohio SPCA has two main goals as its purpose. One, to extend to present and future generations humane education, which will lead to an awareness of the need for people to be responsible and kind stewards over animals. Second, to intercede on behalf of animals and bring about change to situations and practices in which cruelty, neglect, or unnecessary suffering exists.

WELFARE OF HOMELESS ANIMALS

To rescue and provide care and shelter for homeless, abandoned and abused animals in our service area. To find loving “forever” homes for the animals that we rescue. To reduce the over-population of unwanted and homeless dogs and cats in Southside Virginia through public education and our low and no-cost spay and neuter programs.

The mission of the Rhode Island SPCA is to pre­vent cruelty to all animals throughout the state of Rhode Island; to advocate for the welfare of all animals great and small; to enforce the animal cruelty laws of the state of Rhode Island; to develop measures for promoting the welfare of animals; to pre­vent the unnecessary sickness and suffering of animals; to shelter and care for unwanted animals while working diligently to find them new homes; and to promote humane treatment and appreciation of all animals through education and community outreach.

The Delaware SPCA is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to enhance the well-being of companion animals with their human care-givers and communities. They promote the humane treatment of animals by providing adoption opportunities, low-cost veterinary services and educational programs.

Our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats, and their human companions.

The SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County serves animals and people by engaging the hearts, hands, and minds of the community.

Hillside SPCA, Inc is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation that provides animal welfare services to all of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The county presently has a population of approximately 153,000. Our service area covers approximately 783 square miles.

The Calgary Humane Society is known throughout the country for the outstanding and innovative programs and services we have provided to the animals and the community for over 80 years. At the Calgary Humane Society we help close to 10,000 animals each year. These animals have become homeless, unwanted, abused or neglected, and depend on the Calgary Humane Society for shelter, veterinary care, placement and protection.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.
