The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs on both land and water; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs.

Freedom Canines International\u2019s mission is simple- Pups Empowering People! We raise and train life-saving assistance dogs, partnering them with Texans in need of their specialized skills at no charge. In addition to empowering clients, we have created a training process designed to empower high school students through their involvement in training future assistance dogs. Freedom Canines is an integral part of agriculture classes at participating high schools, utilizing puppies to engage students in hands-on learning.

They are hoping to help as many reptiles, turtles, tortoises, and large birds that they possibly can. They rescue, rehab, and take in surrendered reptiles and large birds until they can find them loving new homes.

To provide foster care, re-homing assistance, and hospice care to senior dogs that have been left behind by their owners, or are residing in shelters.

Red Leash Rescue (RLR) is a not for profit rescue corporation with 501(c)3 status. We work with Animal Controls across Fairfield County and surrounding communities to build a strong Foster Team Network that provides safe refuge, love and care to discarded Adult/Senior dogs, until successfully re-homed. Our dogs will be up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Our long term goal is to complement our foster network with a RLR Foster Home for Adult/Senior dogs, enabling more dogs to be removed from the shelter environment, and if unable to get adoted, living the rest of their lives in a home setting cherished and cared for

The Odd Cat Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501c (3) organization approved MA charity. Our mission with the Odd Cats of New England is simple, yet complex – our foundation regards the Odd Cats in every sense, be it a medical illness, a behavioral issue, abandoned, abused, neglected, feral, semi-feral, death row inmates, or physically challenged. While our cats cannot speak for themselves we have committed our time and effort to champion their cause. Cats have a magnificent presence that deserves to be defended through love, medical care, and affection in the fostering role first; and then with adoption options and placement in their forever home. We have developed the process toward adoption that supports our mission. Our adoption procedure is a three step method that nurtures a successful placement. Additionally, our rescue seeks to decrease the overpopulation in New England that is desperately challenged, this challenge to the overpopulation is where the Odd Cat thrives. We are entirely foster based, volunteer driven, and completely reliant on donations, contributions, and fund raising. Community support is our foundation.

Our mission: To encourage and promote responsible dog ownership and to reduce the abuse and neglect of all Golden Retrievers through rehabilitation and adoption. To do all in our power to assure the humane treatment of Golden Retrievers and to accept unwanted Golden Retrievers, care for them medically, spay/neuter and rehabilitate them and place them in caring homes. To educate the public in responsible dog ownership to include proper health, spay/neutering, nutrition, training and good canine citizenship. To discourage unwanted or careless breeding practices and promote humane care for all dogs.

Their Mission : " The Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation is dedicated to providing qualified homes for any horse in need. It is our goal to make certain that every horse placed in our care is provided with all the necessary ingredients for a safe and happy life, and that it is also protected from those who would do it harm. Each horse placed in our care will receive our full efforts to ensure that it never ends up in the auction ring or on the slaughterhouse floor. We promise to do our best to provide only the best homes with dedicated families for every animal we place."
