They provide new lives, new hopes, new dreams and unconditional love for abandoned, abused, or neglected kittens. They are a no kill, no cage rescue, which means that kittens remain with us until good homes are found, socialized in a home environment, with other cats.

THE K9 UNITS / PRIMARY FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: Responding to calls of incidents with armed or dangerous suspects. In-progress felonies such as robberies and burglaries. Searches for concealed or fleeing suspects. Searches for articles or evidence including narcotics and explosives. Patrolling parks. Conducting public demonstrations.

The goal of the Wild Cat Education and Conservation Fund is to educate the public about the decreasing population of wild cat species around the world, provide funding for worldwide wild cat conservation projects, and offer safe refuge for captive wild cats.

PLACING SERVICE DOGS WITH PTSD VETERANS

A no-kill facility, SCRC in Virginia, with the help of an 800 volunteer transport team, picks up Siamese cats throughout the eastern US and houses them in either a foster home or at the Rescue Center. Medical attention is provided including all vaccines, blood work and spay/neuter, and cats are then rehomed in carefully screened permanent situations

TO ENGAGE INDIVIDUALS WITH DIFFICULTIES WITH THE COMPANIONSHIP OF EXTREMELY TRAINED WORKING CANINES TO ALLOW THEM TO IMPROVE THEIR INTERACTION

Food Empowerment Project seeks to create a more just and sustainable world by recognizing the power of one’s food choices. We encourage healthy food choices that reflect a more compassionate society by spotlighting the abuse of animals on farms, the depletion of natural resources, unfair working conditions for produce workers, and the unavailability of healthy foods in low-income areas. By making informed choices, we can prevent injustices against animals, people, and the environment. We also work to discourage negligent corporations from pushing unhealthy foods into low-income areas and empower people to make healthier choices by growing their own fruits and vegetables. In all of our work, Food Empowerment Project seeks specifically to empower those with the fewest resources.
