Ninna's Road to Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and re-home primarily small-breed dogs, to include senior dogs and dogs in kill-shelters and retired breeder dogs; to provide assistance to pet owners needing to re-home their pet via our Adoption Assistance Program; provide responsible pet ownership education and help the animals at local and surrounding animal control facilities.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. THE PURPOSE OF HOPEFUL TAILS ANIMAL RESCUE IS TO: (A) RESCUE DOGS IN DANGER OF BEING EUTHANIZED AT HIGH KILL SHELTERS, (B) TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DOGS THAT ARE SURRENDERED BY OWNERS THAT CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM, (C) PROVIDE NECESSARY VETERINARY CARE WITH THE INCLUSION OF A SPAY OR NEUTER, (D) PROVIDE LOVING TEMPORARY CARE AT HOPEFUL TAILS AND WITH THE FOSTER PROGRAM, (E) PLACE RESCUED DOGS INTO WELL-MATCHED, CAREFULLY SELECTED, PERMANENT ADOPTIVE HOMES AND (F) SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO THE COMMUNITY AND ALL DOG OWNERS BY PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ON RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP, INCLUDING THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY OR NEUTER, POSITIVE BEHAVIOR TRAINING AND GOOD NUTRITION.
Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.
Lost Pet Services, Inc. is a highly dedicated volunteer-based organization that reunites lost pets with their families through systematic, free pet recovery services and educational resources in the Sarasota and Manatee counties area. All services provided are free of charge to our community. By providing microchipping, ID tags, financial support to those struggling with shelter fees, emergency vet care for injured stray pets and temporary kennel care for strays, we are able to keep more family pets out of the overcrowded local shelters and home safe with their families. As Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
