At Michelson Found Animals Foundation, our mission is Saving Pets. Enriching Lives. We work to put pets in good homes and keep them there with a range of programs that encompass social enterprise and philanthropy. We operate the first free national microchip registry to help reunite lost pets with their families. With our Adopt & Shop retail stores, we've helped over 20,000 shelter pets find new homes - and reinvest retail sales proceeds to save more pets. And with our grant programs, we've facilitated millions of spay and neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners. We rescue dogs that rescue families. 1. To promote the use of Service Dogs by individuals with invisible disabilities. 2. When possible, to offer training to dogs already in the homes of individuals with psychological, emotional, or intellectual challenges. 3. To educate and train other Service Dog trainers on issues specific to individuals with invisible disabilities.

Shining Hope Farms is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enable children and adults with disabilities to achieve functional goals through the use of equine assisted activities and hippotherapy.

At Operation Overwatch we aim to heal at both ends of the leash; simply put, canines assisting veterans. Our outreach program serves veterans and first responders by providing them with professionally trained service dogs and animal assisted therapy. Operation Overwatch is a 501(c)(3) that rescues dogs from shelters across the country and trains them to be of service to warriors suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and/or traumatic brain injury, as well as those needing mobility assistance.

Operation Freedom Paws empowers veterans and others with disabilities to live a quality life by teaching them to train their own dogs, and certifying them as service dog teams. The dogs, usually from rescue organizations or shelters, are carefully evaluated. Each is then matched to a specific client’s physical and psychological needs. There is no charge – all we ask is a commitment to complete the 48-week training program.

Healing Paws for Warriors is a veteran founded / veteran led 501(c)(3) that provides rescue-to trained ADA certified service dogs to veterans faced with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST) at “no cost” to the veteran with continued support. Our team is comprised of a combat medical war veteran, practicing PTSD therapist, professional service dog trainer, a veterinarian, and many other supportive volunteers. Our dogs come only from local rescues. Our service dog trainer teaches the dogs and the veterans as a team. The dogs are not pets, they are service dogs with the complete protection and rights granted by the American with Disabilities Act. Support Dogs, Inc. is a national not-for-profit organization providing highly skilled service dogs to individuals with disabilities and uniquely trained therapy teams in the community, offering dignity, hope, and independence to those we serve.

Teach photography to promote adoption of homeless animals.

The mission of So Cal Bulldog Rescue is to bring about a time when there will be no more homeless bulldogs and every bulldog born can be guaranteed a good life. So Cal Bulldog Rescue provides the care and time that an otherwise unwanted bulldog needs in order to be placed in better homes. We find homes for the English Bulldogs that need them.
