Pet Orphans of Southern California (POSC) is dedicated to combating the national crisis of overpopulation, abandonment and euthanasia through extensive education programs. While focusing on the universal concern, POSC is committed to serving its community by rescuing and rehabilitating adoptable homeless dogs and cats, providing them with exceptional care and then carefully matching them with suitable adoptive families. In addition to education and rescue, POSC provides broad community support by offering a wide range of services including medical/financial, spay/neuter and training assistance, encouraging responsible pet guardianship thus reducing abandonment and other consequences that deepen the national crisis.

The mission of Orphan Acres Equine and wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Sanctuary, Inc is to provide care and rehabilitation for abandoned, neglected,abused  and malnourished horses and wildlife,while educating the public regarding the issues surrounding rescue and rehabilitation and all aspects of horse ownership and care.

The Nokota Horse Conservancy exists to ensure the survival of the historically significant and endangered Nokota breed. Our mission is to continue the breeding program to preserve and protect their genetics and to engage in educational outreach that advances an appreciation of the importance of the Nokota horse and the need to sustain its existence for future generations.

Spirit’s Promise Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation rescues horses who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted. When these beautiful animals arrive, we give them a new educational and recuperative purpose. In return, they repay us with love, sensitivity, and an innate spirituality unique to the species.

Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. was established for the charitable purpose of:• Rescuing, raising, and training the highest caliber medical service/assistance dogs• Pairing highly trained dogs with individuals afflicted by disabilities, including a focus on veterans with combat wounds • Building/restoring independence and improving quality of life, for both the recipient and the dog, while minimizing reliance on government, communities, caregivers, and families• Advancing successful service dog training practices by promoting appropriate trainer education and contributing to related research studies• Pursuing increased public awareness and education regarding current disability laws and contributing to new/enhanced laws regarding service dogs

The mission of HMRS is to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, sick, injured or neglected rabbits and to educate the community on proper care and the importance of spay/neutering. We work closely with other local rescues and adoption partners so that when an adoptable bunny is ready to go they find a home as quickly as possible.

Avian Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a 501(c)(3) avicultural organization providing educational outreach, rescue and rehabilitation (focusing on macaws and other large exotic birds), and grant funding to approved organizations and to owners who are unable to afford the cost of their companion bird’s emergency veterinary care.

Happy Paws Kitten Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for, providing medical treatment, and re-homing homeless, abandoned, and abused cats in East Tennessee. We are also dedicated to promoting proper care of animals through community education and to strengthening the human-animal bond.

The NOAH Center works to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable, and treatable dogs and cats in Washington state by operating a family‑friendly adoption program, running a high-quality low‑cost spay/neuter clinic for low‑income residents, and providing humane education, transfer partnerships, and volunteer programs.

OUR MISSION: To find loving homes for abused, abandoned and neglected animals; to spay/neuter our rescued dogs of age to stop the cycle of unwanted litters; to assist in public education for the betterment of our community; and to maintain a high standard of care for the animals, including veterinary care, housing, love, tenderness and compassion.

The chapter is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) that rescues, medically cares for, spays/neuters, and rehomes domestic rabbits while educating the public about proper rabbit care and rabbit welfare. It runs a shelter/foster program, provides veterinary care for incoming rabbits, and conducts outreach to reduce unwanted rabbits.

We rescue dogs that rescue families. 1. To promote the use of Service Dogs by individuals with invisible disabilities. 2. When possible, to offer training to dogs already in the homes of individuals with psychological, emotional, or intellectual challenges. 3. To educate and train other Service Dog trainers on issues specific to individuals with invisible disabilities.
