The goal of this organization is to teach the youth about the ocean, how it affects our daily lives and how to respect it. It is also to explain the importance of sustainable fishing and how to practice it effectively. We do this by offering free fishing opportunities for underprivileged youth from title 1 schools. We want to help the new generation be able to make a positive impact on society and the environment and to teach them to spread their knowledge to those around them. We hope to inspire young people to practice these methods of sustainability on their own time and overall make the world a better place.

The Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge is a non-profit membership organization that champions the protection of wildlife and their habitats by broadening public understanding of and engagement in the natural and cultural resources of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.

Cameroon is one of the last places on earth where gorillas and chimpanzees still exist in the wild. Our front line conservation work includes rescuing gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys orphaned by the illegal bushmeat and pet trades, and giving them a safe forest sanctuary home where they can live with their own kind. Conservation included people, too, and we work directly with local villagers, developing community projects to generate income for them. We have a thriving education programme and our teamwork with thousands of children and adults every year, most of whom have never seen the majestic gorillas and chimpanzees until they visit our forest sanctuary at Mefou Primate Park.

Save The Snakes is dedicated exclusively to snake conservation and human-snake conflict mitigation. Together with our worldwide network of snake conservationists, our mission is to protect snake populations around the world through education and community outreach to create a harmonious relationship between humans and snakes.

The sanctuary provides lifelong care and safe, outdoor open‑flight housing for parrots and other exotic birds that are abused, neglected, abandoned or otherwise displaced. It does not breed or sell birds; instead FEBS focuses on permanent placement, medical and behavioral care, and educating the public about the responsibilities of keeping exotic birds as pets.

Lincoln Park Zoo is dedicated to connecting people with nature by providing a free, family-oriented wildlife experience in the heart of Chicago and by advancing the highest quality of animal care, education, science and conservation.

Sea Turtle Recovery (STR) is dedicated to the rehabilitation, preservation and conservation of sea turtles. STR’s goal is to rehabilitate sick or injured sea turtles for their release back to the wild. Sea Turtle Recovery also educates the public on the important ecological role of sea turtles, threats endangering them, and ways to protect their future.

Wolf Sanctuary of PA provides lifelong refuge and care for displaced wolves and wolf‑dogs, ensuring they receive appropriate habitat, veterinary care, and enrichment. The sanctuary also runs guided educational tours and public programs to dispel myths about wolves and promote wolf conservation and biology.
