Phoenix Landing provides for parrots in need and acts as advocates for those without protection. Phoenix Landing seeks to improve the quality of life for all parrots. Our objectives are to: * Provide educational activities regarding the care and needs of parrots; * Facilitate adoption for parrots who need a new family; * Provide a home for large parrots who outlive their guardians; * Provide a new home for neglected or unwanted parrots; * Sponsor research of wild habitats and natural parrot behaviors; * Support conservation and eco-tourism; * Sponsor better avian education for vets and vet students; and * Advocate standards of care for breeders, pet stores, sanctuaries, and rescues.

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.

Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) is dedicated to the mission of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA). Our mission encompasses a commitment to safeguarding the unique ecosystem of the area, fostering a deep connection between people and nature, and supporting the National Park Service in its endeavors. This includes a focus on youth education, scientific research, improvement of park facilities, community stewardship, and the preservation of indigenous cultural resources. This vision is rooted in the belief that sustainable practices and community engagement are key to preserving the ecological and cultural richness of the Santa Monica Mountains for future generations.

Center for Wildlife is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate and strengthen relationships between humans, wildlife and the environment resulting in a healthier, more sustainable community. To this end, we focus on three goals: 1. Strengthen our community's overall health through the interdisciplinary approach of conservation medicine. 2. Expand community outreach and provide learning opportunities to educate and inspire people of all ages to value the connection between wildlife, human, and environmental health. 3. Florida Wildlife Hospital is open 365 days a year to admit native Florida wildlife. On average, 5,000 animals are admitted per year and there is never a charge for patient care. Our mission is to keep wildlife wild by providing quality, compassionate care. We support this mission by focusing on: • Providing quality care through networking, continued education, and medical advancements • Releasing only mentally and physically “sound” native Florida wildlife that can positively contribute to the ecosystem in their intended way • Acting as the front lines for disease detection, treatment, and prevention • Empowering our community through education to protect native Florida wildlife and their natural environment • Providing a place to give back through volunteering and donations • And more
