MMDC’s mission is to provide a safe and positive arts environment to at-risk and underserved individuals in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. MMDC offers a quality and diverse dance environment to a community that is underrepresented in the arts.

Theater Wit produces premiere plays that engage audiences with wit and wisdom. The company provides the best neighborhood theater experience, uniting its own aesthetic commitment to humor, surprise, intimacy and honest humanity with exceptional contemporary work by its peers. It is also a leading theatrical destination, using its three theater spaces to curate opportunities for other producing entities, artists, audiences, and the larger community to connect in new and meaningful ways.

In a time and society that too often objectifies and marginalizes the way in which Black women and girls see themselves, theatre has an opportunity to become a refreshing reaffirming experience for not just the girls on stage but the women and girls in the audience. Both artists, audience and institutions alike were asking the question of representation and FRESHH Inc Theatre Company, has found the answer. We are committed to presenting work by and about the lives of Black women. Additionally we are working diligently to help cultivate communities of the talents Black women in theatre, from technical theatre to dance. From masterclasses, to a writing circle to full evening length productions, FRESHH is excited to put the voices of Black women at the forefront of our work.

Founded in 2006. Agraj Seva Kendra (ASK) promotes youth leadership, fostering civic engagement and building community spirit. Our goal is to provide opportunity to students to apply creativity and critical though beyond the confines of the classroom and excel.

Mainestage Shakespeare is a local, non-profit educational theater summer camp program that uses the bard to teach kids theater skills, self-confidence, self-expression, public-speaking, and teamwork. It also enhances the communities of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport by providing free shakespeare performances by professional actors in beautiful, outdoor settings all summer long.

Stagebridge enriches the lives of older adults and their communities through the performing arts. Stagebridge works to fundamentally transform american attitudes towards aging from the traditional image of decline to a new vision of continuous growth. We accomplish this with nationally recognized and award-winning creative aging programs that offer older adults opportunities for lifelong learning and participation in the performing arts. Stagebridge’s unique position as a theatre company “for, by and of” seniors demonstrates in action the many ways in which elders improve and enrich our culture and our communities.

Acoustic Sound, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is committed to preserving and promoting traditional, acoustic American music through presentation and education, with special attention given to the bluegrass music community.

La Vie Theaters inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit Texas based arts organization, whose focus is to utilize the creative powers of the arts through productions, events and educational programs to invoke positive change in communities. We have carried out successful events in both New York City and Dallas Texas, helping children realize the fullness of their potential and supporting those in their fight with cancer.

COLLECTION ITEMS ACQUIRED EITHER THROUGH PURCHASES OR DONATION ARE NOT CAPITALIZED. PURCHASES OF COLLECTION ITEMS ARE RECORDED AS DECREASES IN NET ASSETS WITHOUT DONOR RESTRICTIONS IF PURCHASED WITH ASSETS WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS AND AS A DECREASE IN NET ASSETS WITH DONOR RESTRICTIONS IF PURCHASED WITH DONOR-RESTRICTED ASSETS. CONTRIBUTIONS OF COLLECTION ITEMS ARE NOT RECOGNIZED IN THE STATEMENT OF ACTIVITIES. THE ASSOCIATION'S INSURANCE POLICY OF MUSEUM COLLECTIONS EXPIRED IN NOVEMBER 1995. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS DETERMINED THAT IT IS NOT FEASIBLE TO OBTAIN SIMILAR COVERAGE ON THE COLLECTIONS DUE TO THE HIGH PREMIUM COST.
