We are the steward of two beautiful spaces comprising a vibrant performing arts Center, and our acclaimed Company of Artistic Associates performs works by renowned and rising contemporary choreographers.Through expansive programming, we push boundaries, address pressing issues, lift voices, and mobilize the power of movement to transform lives and, in turn, change the world we live in.

Axial Theatre is an ensemble-based Westchester theatre organization comprised of artists committed to creating professional theatre and a vital educational experience for emerging artists. Axial Theatre is committed to producing plays, both new and old, that speak to issues relevant to today's world.

The Actors Shakespeare Company is a professional, non profit ensemble theater, in service to the Northern New Jersey area since 2000. Our mission is to promote, drive, and implement the revitalization of Downtown Framingham by collaborating with residents, Town of Framingham officials, and private stakeholders supporting a shared vision. We are committed to making Downtown Framingham a great place to live, work and visit.

The idea for A Free Bird™ was born out of the creative energy experienced firsthand by singer/songwriter and makeup artist, Godni Amir, founder and president of the organization. When Godni’s voice teacher, Gail found out her husband had been diagnosed with cancer, she had to stop teaching and become his primary caregiver. Soon after, she was also diagnosed with cancer. Although she and her husband struggled to defeat the disease, she never gave up her passion for the arts! Deeply touched by Gail’s determination to continue teaching and pursuing her creative endeavors, Godni was inspired to write music and poetry that reflected her benevolent spirit, which lead to the creation of a poem called “A Free Bird.” After seeing how creative energy could provide solace and inspiration to cancer patients, Godni wanted to share the healing power of the arts with others. A Free Bird™ was then created, delivering the message that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves and fly free.
