We are a non-governmental development organization constituted on July 14, 1983 as the social arm of the Lutheran church in Peru. We are men and women who, motivated by our faith, work with families in situations of economic, social and environmental vulnerability, in order to create the right conditions for a dignified life. Since our creation, we have dedicated our commitment and effort to the promotion of territorial development with a focus on sustainable human development, promoting healthy housing, with emphasis on education, health and nutrition, facilitating processes that contribute to economic and social development, with a focus on rights, gender and interculturality.

Individual Freedom: The Fundamental Freedoms afforded to each and every Canadian by section two of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (the Charter). These freedoms are paramount and embody the very values comprising our democratic society. They are: Freedom of Religion and Conscience Freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression Freedom of Peaceful Assembly Freedom of Association Equality before the law: Section 15 of the Charter enumerates the human right held by each and every Canadian to be treated equally before and under the law, and to be afforded equal protection and benefit of the law without discrimination based on race, ancestry, ethnicity, age, gender or other such personal characteristics. This right holds each and every Canadian subject to the same laws, and ensures that no individual or group shall receive special legal privileges.

To be a welcoming space for the LGBTQIAP+ population, always taking into account intersectionalities, such as issues of gender expressions and identity, sexual affective orientation, race and class. To act in the promotion of human dignity and social well-being of all people in a broad and free way, working to guarantee the effective access of this population to social and economic rights, in order to contribute to the structural transformation of society.

The Kreisau-Initiative e.V. was founded 1989 to address the need for international understanding, democratic education, and active engagement in human rights, particularly in response to Europe's history of division, conflict, and authoritarianism. The Kreisau-Initiative is committed to promoting democracy, human rights, social inclusion, and sustainability through international educational programs and cross-cultural dialogue. Rooted in the legacy of the Kreisau Circle, a German resistance group against Nazism, its mission is to empower individuals - especially young people - to actively shape just, inclusive, and democratic societies. At its core, the Kreisau-Initiative responds to persistent social challenges such as discrimination, social exclusion, extremism, and a lack of opportunities for youth participation in shaping democratic, inclusive societies. Recognizing that many young people - especially those from marginalized backgrounds - face barriers to education, empowerment, and cross-cultural exchange, the organization promotes non-formal education as a tool for social change. Today, the need for fostering social cohesion, gender equality, human rights awareness, and sustainability remains as urgent as ever. The Kreisau-Initiative continues to address these challenges by creating spaces for learning, dialogue, and action, empowering individuals to become active, responsible members of a democratic and diverse Europe. The organization's priority objectives are: - To foster social cohesion by addressing discrimination, exclusion, and extremism. - To promote human rights education and critical engagement with history to strengthen democratic values. - To advance gender equality and support marginalized groups through empowerment and participation. - To encourage socio-ecological transformation, raising awareness of sustainable development and climate justice. - To provide spaces for intercultural exchange, enabling young people to develop skills in dialogue, cooperation, and civic responsibility. Through non-formal education, transnational partnerships, and youth-centered approaches, the Kreisau-Initiative equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive positive social change across Europe and beyond.

Associacao Viva a Vida's mission is the empowerment of adolescents and young people within a context of social risk so that they can make healthy choices and develop self-esteem, autonomy and control over their lives; the work focuses on educational, artistic, cultural, socio-environmental, sport and leisure activities, and community mobilization for the prevention of drug abuse, to combat violence and guarantee Human Rights.

However a culture defines it, literacy touches every aspect of individual and community life. It is an essential foundation for learning through life and must be valued as a human right. Our primary program is a one-to-one tutoring program that matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners, to help them meet their literacy goals. UHWC is an independent and non-profit Palestinian NGO with the purpose of achieving community health empowerment and promoting the comprehensive healthcare concept through primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare; woman and child protection. UHWC is committed to the principles of human rights principles which include equity, equality, accountability, rule of law, transparency, tolerance, respect, non-discrimination, participation, empowerment and attention to vulnerable groups.
