Holocaust Museum Houston is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust, remembering the 6 million Jews and other innocent victims and honoring the survivors' legacy. Using the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides, we teach the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy. Our Vision We envision a society that transforms ignorance into respect for human life, that remembers the Holocaust and affirms an individual's responsibility for the collective actions of society. Founded in 1916, the mission of the BSO is to perform the highest quality symphonic music of all eras that nurtures the human spirit. The BSO is committed to engaging, inspiring, educating, and serving its audiences and to enhancing Maryland as a cultural center of vitality and importance.

The mission of Red Hen Press is to publish works of literary excellence, to foster diversity, and to promote literacy in our local schools. We seek a community of readers and writers who are actively engaged in the essential human practice known as literature.

The Institute has social goals related to the provision of aid, advice, the defense and guarantee of the rights of adolescents, youth and their families, and it also: I Promotes labor market integration, by improving the quality of professional education and training; II Offers social safety actions that enable the promotion of protagonism, citizen participation, the mediation of access to the labor world and social mobilization for building collective strategies; III Provides aid to adolescents and to professional education in carrying out apprenticeship programs; IV Provides methodical technical and professional training for adolescents, compatible with their physical, moral and psychological development; V Promotes work by means of apprenticeship, acting as an integration agent between apprentices and companies, according to applicable legislation; VI Liaison with other public policies related to labor market integration; VII Works together with groups focused on strengthening bonds and developing behavior and skills for entering the labor world; monitoring is carried out throughout the process; VIII Promotes political and citizenship training, developing, rescuing and/or strengthening protagonism by means of permanent critical thinking as a condition of personal growth and construction of autonomy, for social interaction; IX Promotes the required support for youth with disabilities and their families aimed at acknowledging and strengthening their potentials and skills for labor world integration; X Coordination of social aid benefits and services in promoting integration into the labor world, the defense and dissemination of ethics, citizenship, human rights and other universal values.

Our humanitarian and development organization offers basic health care to isolated African villages, participates in the fight against HIV/AIDS and other diseases, and contributes to the training of human resources both in Canada and in the host countries of Benin, Tanzania and Uganda.

The art Theatre by the River produces is intimate, minimalistic, entertaining, but above all urgently relevant. We are a theatre company that seeks to connect - to connect artists to their craft, individuals to their fellow audience members, and audiences to their place in the continuing story of human existence.

ENVIRUMEDIC mission is to work with the grassroots to promote holistic development programme to eradicate poverty. In other words, ENVIRUMEDIC mission is to initiate a holistic development programme such as fighting corruption and improving transparency that will create the physical and human infrastructure growth and poverty reduction.

The OCWC's programs are built on its unique hands-on animal care experience with a range of species from flying squirrels to river otters and the expertise gained in resolving over 100,000 human-wildilfe conflict calls. Our programs include: 1)School Program designed to improve the knowledge and understanding of wildlife among students in grades JK-8. It aims to get children excited about wildlife and to help reconnect them to nature. Annually the Centre works with about 1,000 students; 2)The Centre's website offers detailed, cost-effective and humane solutions to human-wildlife conflicts; 3)The OCWC's Community Outreach Programs give workshops at events ranging from Environmental Fairs, summer camps, libraries, gardening clubs and community associations. Through these events the Centre increases the public's understanding about urban wildlife and biodiversity; 4)The Centre builds and maintains strategic partnerships so wildilfe perspectives are considered in planning matters.

Global Fund for Children envisions a future where all children and youth enjoy equal resources and opportunities in society, and live free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation. Our mission is to partner with community-based organizations around the world to help children and youth reach their full potential and advance their rights.
