FACE(FOUNDATION FOR AFRICAN CHILDREN EDUCATION) DIVISION OF FOCUS ON AFRICA WAS FORMED IN 2006. WE HAVE STARTED OUR WORK IN GHANA. SINCE 2006 WE HAVE BEEN MAKING TRIPS WITH VOLUNTEERS,ONCE A YEAR,TO REMOTE VILLAGES IN GHANA TO SPONSOR SELECTED CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL. FROM 50 SPONSORED KIDS IN 2006 ,WE HAVE GROWN TO 180 SPONSORED KIDS IN 2010 THANKS TO GROWING NUMBER OF SPONSORS JOINING US. SPONSORS RECEIVE PHOTOS OF THEIR SPONSORED CHILD EVERY YEAR.

The Foundation's goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academic, athletic, interpersonal skills, leadership, as a mentor, and someone willing to be mentored. They hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and in their relationships with themselves and others. Their program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, and how to pursue happiness. In the end, our long-term goal is to help them become professionals in life, to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends, and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.

Children Mending Hearts is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth through educational and arts programs that build empathy and global citizenry. Our goal is to directly engage the youth of America in global children's causes where they can positively impact the life of another child and ultimately realize their potential to effect change both in their own community and around the world.

Jamie is one sponsor who saw the results of his sponsorship when he met his sponsored child in Ethiopia. "For us, the decision to sponsor Mestewet was easy. Today, she is a beautiful, bright and healthy little girl from Ethiopia. Not long ago I was able to visit Mestewet while stationed with the Canadian Forces in Addis Ababa. As the CCFC worker and I arrived at Mestewet’s mud-walled, thatch-roofed home, a smiling girl waved and excitedly announced our arrival to her mother. We sat in the darkness of their windowless home. They had nothing except one table and a few mattresses. Yet in Ethiopian tradition, Mestewet’s family welcomed us and gave us everything they had – including freshly roasted coffee! I was touched to see my family’s photo in amongst their few belongings. B Street Theatre (originally founded as Theatre For Children, Inc.) produces professional theatre and extensive education/outreach programs that promote literacy, arts education, and community engagement for children and adults. It runs school tours, family-series performances, classes, and playwright programs to bring live theatre and playwriting education to students and the wider Sacramento region.

Masomo For Children fulfills its mission by: (1) sponsoring tuition scholarships for children living in orphanages and marginalized communities to attend primary and secondary schools and vocational colleges; (2) providing these students with access to educational resources and other basic supplies to assist them in their studies.

Vulnerable Children Society is a vibrant registered Canadian charity managed by a committed group of Canadian volunteers, dedicated to helping some of the most vulnerable children in the world: one by one. We currently run several grassroots programs to help children and families in Ethiopia, in partnership with Ethiopian and Canadian organizations. Vulnerable Children Society supports the care of HIV+/HIV- children in Faya Orphanage in Adama, Ethiopia. We sponsor HIV+ and otherwise vulnerable children in our House 2 House support program, in several Ethiopian communities. Vulnerable Children Society has organized food aid for drought victims, and fundraised for educational supplies and furnishings for rural Ethiopian children. Change for Children partners with communities in Latin America and Africa who are struggling against poverty and injustice to improve access to basic needs, healthcare and education. Our development projects, their cost and priority, are determined by our Southern partners according to the current needs of their communities. Change for Children is about social change. Our commitment is to Self Determination, Equality, Local Ownership, Responsibility, Solidarity, and the Future. With your help Change for Children supports initiatives in areas of: Basic Human Needs, Health & Nutrition, HIV/AIDS Prevention & Treatment, Education, Sustainable Agriculture, Indigenous Peoples' Cultural & Environmental Preservation, Child Protection, Human Rights, Democracy & Good Governance Promotion, Capacity Development & Income Generation for Women. In Canada, our Global Education program engages the public in a process of awareness raising, analysis and action on issues of global justice.

Through the establishment of a joint partnership agreement with Bolivian grassroots organization, Fundación Niños con Valor, BCF implements programs and projects that aim to alleviate poverty and its effects suffered by children and their families. These currently include residential programs for children who have been orphaned, abandoned or removed from high-risk situations. In the future, we hope to expand and include outreach programs to help stabilize at-risk-families, and community programs aimed at establishing new and supporting existing educational and health programs specifically benefiting mothers and children.

Twenty years ago, Zareinu started from the hearts of a few who saw a need to help children with a wide range of developmental challenges. The goal was to provide special chidlren with the vital therapies and treatments combined with an adapted education rich in Jewish teachings and traditions. Today, Zareinu has an excellent reputation as the only Centre of its kind in Ontario - a place where children receive all the supports they need under one roof.

Educate the Children (EtC) is a non profit, charitable organization founded in 2004 by a local teacher in London, ON, Canada. The Board of EtC consists of a group of Canadian professionals who believe that Education is a fundamental right of all children and a responsibility that must be shared by all. Our Core Values include: • Knowledge and education • Innovation and creativity • Honesty and transparency • Fairness and equality • Passion for our work • Justice • An overall commitment to leaving the world a better place than we found it. We are strongly committed and dedicated to raising the funds needed to complete our projects. All of our members are volunteers, this helps us to keep our administrative cost to 1%. This means that 99% of every donation goes towards completing our projects in rural Nigeria.
