To develop and operate an innovative children’s museum serving the Pikes Peak region. We envision the museum as a dynamic place for discovery and imagination, sparking a passion for lifelong learning.

The mission of the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) is to enhance verbal and visual literacy in children by celebrating the best original art published in children's literature. The National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature exhibits, tours, collects, preserves and promotes original art from the finest children’s literature.

THE NON-PROFIT CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERAL REVENUE CODE, OR CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE. THE ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT NORTH SHORE CHILDRENS MUSEUM.
