Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center preserves the legacy of the Holocaust by teaching universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice, and indifference, and by inspiring audiences to be Upstanders who speak out for what’s right – turning powerful lessons of history into positive actions today. We activate this mission through world-class exhibitions, public programming, educational initiatives, and partnerships that bring diverse communities together to understand history and contemporary human rights issues. The Museum reaches and impacts the lives of more than 180,000 people of all ages and diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds annually, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and courage to take a stand for humanity.

The Santa Fe Children's Museum: Discovering the joys of learning, play, and community. We at the Santa Fe Children's Museum believe that children have the right to reach their greatest potential. We recognize children's capacity to construct their own knowledge in an environment that provides for honest inquiry and real discovery. We also value the human need to socialize. To that end we have created a place of warmth and color, a learning laboratory whose exhibit and programs are designed to cultivate habit of inquiry that will last a lifetime; invite manipulation, exploration, and experimentation; and present challenges to children and adults alike.

The Gallery's mission is to serve the nation by welcoming all people to explore and experience art, creativity, and our shared humanity.
