Building on Henry E. Huntington’s legacy of renowned collections and botanical gardens that enrich the visitor, The Huntington today encourages research and promotes education in the arts, humanities, and botanical sciences through the growth and preservation of its collections, through the development and support of a community of scholars, and through the display and interpretation of its extraordinary resources to the public.

The organization honors Arkansas military veterans and promotes public awareness of their service and accomplishments. It maintains a Hall of Fame (including a display at the state capitol) and holds an annual induction banquet to recognize selected veterans.

The Museum of Arts and Design champions contemporary makers across creative fields, presenting artists, designers, and artisans who apply the highest level of ingenuity and skill to their work. Since the Museum’s founding in 1956 by philanthropist Aileen Osborn Webb, MAD has celebrated all facets of making and the creative processes by which materials are transformed, from traditional techniques to cutting-edge technologies. CuriOdyssey, a science park for children, incorporates the foundations of the former Coyote Point Museum, but with a new vision. We are a stellar learning center that offers children a comprehensive introduction to the sciences. Our interactive science exhibits, exciting wildlife encounters, and engaging education programs give children authentic learning experiences that help develop an appreciation of the role of science in our lives. We provide the tools and experiences for children to learn and discover the fundamentals of physics, chemistry, biology, and geology by engaging them directly with scientific phenomena – animals, air, sound, water, plants, magnetism, and more. Through such interactions, we help to educate and inspire future leaders and innovators.

Los Altos History Museum gathers and presents stories and artifacts that bridge the past and the present to challenge establish narratives by fostering the creative energy of staff and volunteers, producing engaging education exhibits and programs. Founded in 1977 as a grassroots community volunteer organization, we have grown over the last 45 years to be a mission-driven organization working to help residents of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, and Cupertino make sense of our changing world and our own place in it. Our vision is to be the premier local center for creating a sense of belonging for everyone living and working in the area across multiple generations and multiple ethnicities. The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County inspires curiosity and creativity through joyful, transformative experiences. CMOSC’s vision is to ensure that all children have access to innovative play, creating more opportunities to empower the next generation of leaders, inventors, thinkers, and dreamers.

The National September 11 Memorial and Museum will honor the thousands of lives lost in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993; the endurance of those who survived; the courage of those who risked their lives to save others; and the compassion of all who supported us in our darkest hours. Holden Arboretum was founded in 1931 by Roberta Holden Bole and Benjamin inspiration, and recreation, for scientific research and for educational and aesthetic purposes.

Heisey Collectors of America preserves, documents, and interprets the history and products of the A. H. Heisey & Company by maintaining and operating the National Heisey Glass Museum, caring for the mold and object collections, and offering educational exhibits and programs to the public and collectors.

The mission of the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation is to preserve the aviation history of the U.S. Marine Corps, honor the service of its people, and inspire in all generations an appreciation of America’s freedoms and values.The Foundation accomplishes its mission by supporting the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum and providing programs to serve the community and share the heritage of USMC aviation.
