The National WASP WWII Museum is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. Our mission is to educate and inspire all generations with the story of the WASP—the first women to fly America's military aircraft—who forever changed the role of women in aviation.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN ARTISTS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND EXHIBITS OF WORKS OF ARTS.

GREATER CLEVELAND SPORTS HALL OF FAME RECOGNIZES MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE FASHIONED THIS AREA'S REMARKABLE ATHLETIC REPUTATION

TO PRESERVE THE TOPAZ INTERNMENT SITE AND ITS WORLD WAR II HISTORY; TO INTERPRET THE IMPACT OF TOPAZ ON THE JAPANESE AMERICAN INTERNEES, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE CITIZENS OF MILLARD COUNTY; AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO HELP PREVENT A RECURRENCE OR A SIMILAR DENIAL OF AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS.

From the website: "… the museum has objectively interpreted and presented the achievements and aspirations of African Americans from pre-colonial times to the current day. The museum is committed to telling the story of African Americans in all its permutations: family life, the Civil Rights movement, arts and entertainment, sports, medicine, architecture, politics, religion, law and technology. The AAMP currently houses four galleries and an auditorium, each of which offer exhibitions anchored by one of our three dominant themes: the African Diaspora, the Philadelphia Story, and the Contemporary Narrative."
