The OCWC's programs are built on its unique hands-on animal care experience with a range of species from flying squirrels to river otters and the expertise gained in resolving over 100,000 human-wildilfe conflict calls. Our programs include: 1)School Program designed to improve the knowledge and understanding of wildlife among students in grades JK-8. It aims to get children excited about wildlife and to help reconnect them to nature. Annually the Centre works with about 1,000 students; 2)The Centre's website offers detailed, cost-effective and humane solutions to human-wildlife conflicts; 3)The OCWC's Community Outreach Programs give workshops at events ranging from Environmental Fairs, summer camps, libraries, gardening clubs and community associations. Through these events the Centre increases the public's understanding about urban wildlife and biodiversity; 4)The Centre builds and maintains strategic partnerships so wildilfe perspectives are considered in planning matters.

BOULDER MUSE IS A FREE AFTERSCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAM FOR CHILDEREN WHOSE FAMILES MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PAY FOR PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS. BOULDER MUSE IS A SAFE AND NURTURING COMMUNITY OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, VOLUNTEERS AND PARENTS DEDICATED TO GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPTIMAL MUSICAL ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH TO THRIVE, AND THE RIGHT COMMUNITY TO DO IT IN.

ASC’s mission is to produce bold, re-imagined, entertaining and accessible interpretations of classical works, contemporary plays, and musicals with a core commitment to the works of Shakespeare and other major dramatists. ASC is committed to promoting the highest level of artistic excellence, to cultivating the widest possible audience, and to contributing to the economic and cultural growth of our community, state, and region with a Year-Round Season of Professional Theatre, our Educational Artist-in-Residence Programs, and our Pre-professional Training and Internship Programs. Annapolis Shakespeare Company enriches the human community through the revelation of beauty and the illumination of fundamental truths of human experience.

The Shakespeare Company (TSC) bridges the truths of the past with the challenges of today through fresh, brave, and highly accessible performances. For 17 seasons, TSC has used the works of William Shakespeare to strike at the heart of what it means to be human in our rawest moments.

The Bill 7 Award Trust provides scholarships for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, 2-spirited and queer youth who are in financial need and are enrolled in their first program at any post-secondary institution in Ontario. It is named after the 1986 Ontario legislation that extended the protection of the Human Rights Code to lesbians and gay men. Bill 7 Award is directed and administered by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives from two community groups: Community One and Supporting Our Youth (a program of Sherbourne Health Centre). By building a capital trust fund, Bill 7 Award is able to leverage contributions that are made to provide scholarships for many years to come. In recent years, Bill 7 Award has been able to grant 4 awards of $2,000 each to very deserving LGBTT2SQ students. Donations may be designated to be invested in the capital fund, disbursed in the following year, or this decision can be left to the discretion of the trustees.

Because democracies rely upon a well-educated citizenry, CCLET’s mission is to engage Canadians in developing the habits they need to participate in the democratic process. Among the outreach programmes of the Canadian Civil Liberties Trust are Civil Liberties in the Schools and Teaching Civil Liberties. These programs focus on getting students to ask critical questions about their rights and freedoms. By shining the light of inquiry on unfairness, we begin the process of change. Through CCLET guest speakers, conferences, and workshops for schools and community organizations, participants are engaged in lively discussions about their rights and freedoms and the important legal and civil liberties issues created by a pluralistic society. Particular emphasis is on providing programmes for student teachers, and high school law and social studies students.

Kairos Music Academy's mission is to inspire a deep sense of humanity through the art of choral music at a formative time in children’s development. Music brings us together, not only within the individual, but also in forming a community, and finally in a responsible and compassionate relationship to our world.

World Federalists advocate a political order that better represents our common humanity. World federalism is a long-term goal, but one that is coming about gradually and in stages. Important steps can be taken today to promote cooperation and strengthen the rule of law in international affairs.

The Guitar Center Music Foundation believes that music participation helps people reach the heights of human potential and is foundational to a healthy society.Though instrument grants and donations, we help ensure schools and music education programs get the resources they need to keep music alive and accessible.

Young Artists Conservatory of Music was incorporated in November 2007 on the principle that the arts are humanity's greatest means to achieve personal growth and social cohesion. Our vision is to develop mindfulness in your child and to unlock their human potential through leadership in music and arts. Our goal is to provide comprehensive music instruction through definitive standards in achievement and performance, and instill the habits and disciplines of excellence by developing human potential in the performing arts. We promote personal excellence in students who participate in the challenge of musicianship. Instructors and directors provide professional leadership. Students are empowered for excellence in daily practice, an understanding of the musical process, and the ability to share the beauty of one’s music with grace and poise. Sponsors, donors, and mutually aligned organizations support the mission of YACM to empower community through experiencing meaningful outcomes. YACM creates opportunities to enrich our community with a standard of excellence in the musical arts that contributes to the discovery of self-esteem, personal joy, and valued partnerships.

We believe that some things in life should never change...like healthy rivers and lakes, peaceful natural areas, forest walks and safe havens for birds, fish and wildlife. Since 1970, the Conservation Foundation has protected these places of natural beauty, environmental value and spiritual replenishment right here at home in the Rideau Valley of Eastern Ontario.
