In Mulieribus is a women's vocal ensemble dedicated to strengthening community through the art of music. The ensemble specializes in works written before 1750 and champions new repertoire by women composers and for women's voices. In Mulieribus actively develops collaborations with musical, performing, educational and community organizations in order to expand outreach throughout the region.
AMBERHEART Breast Cancer Foundation - a registered charity focused on creating breast health education and cancer prevention programs related to early detection and increasing awareness of breast cancer. Amberheart centers its attention on endorsing healthy ways of living, pro-health habits and identifying women who, because of risk factors, have a high probability to develop breast cancer. Its activities are mainly addressed to young women and those who do not participate in the government supported breast cancer prevention program. The activities of the organization are addressed to: - women, who for any reasons do not participate in the mammography screening program and - younger women who are not covered by it - breast cancer survivors - adolescent women Besides the educational materials such as brochures, videos and flash presentations, we offer courses in breast cancer prevention and detection methods for women and health care specialists
Through theater and the written word, Her Story Theater shines bright lights in dark places on women and children in need of social justice and community support.
The NCWC Education fund works closely with the National Council of Women of Canada, which represents over 750,000 Canadians through its 24 Nationally Organized Affiliated Societies, Provincial Councils in 6 Provinces and 15 Local Councils of Women. There is a 68% incidence of domestic violence in Ukraine. The Konvalia Project has focused energies on the development of a program for the prevention of domestic violence in Ukraine. The work is two-fold. The first is an educational focus that provides information to abused women and representatives of social agencies who work with abused women. Also, six-session workshops are being presented in elementary and high schools focussing on the development of healthy relationships, respect, conflict resolution, building respect, resources in the community and legislation. The second is the provision of services for abused women which would include individual and group counselling services. Counselling services are available for children who are victims and/or witness domestic violence. The Konvalia Project has also been involved in presenting and supporting certificate courses in Practical Social Work. This work is carried out in Kiev and Vinnitsia
Monica Place Waterloo offers a Residential Program for pregnant young women and for new moms and their babies who are in need of safe and supportive housing. Twenty-four hour support is available along with individual counselling and group programs. Parent education and life skills classes are offered to all residents. Monica Place Waterloo offers a Community Program in partnership with the Waterloo Region District School Board. This program encourages young women who are pregnant or parenting to complete secondary school credits in a safe and supportive environment. Free nursery services are provided for students. Monica Place Cambridge is a subsidized housing complex program for young women and their children seeking transitional housing and support. The complex has fifteen, two-bedroom apartment units. Individual counselling and group programs are offered as well as parenting and life skills classes.
Our association focuses its activities in Upper-Egypt where we work in collaboration with AUEED, our local partner, to help local communities change and improve their economic situation through to education and development programs for children, women and young adults.
Belle Voci is a community-based intergenerational women’s choir that performs an eclectic repertoire of wide-ranging styles, showcasing the performance practices of the music’s origin. Founded in the fall of 2012 by Craig G. Cannon, Belle Voci is currently operating in its ninth concert season.

Formed in 2008, we are the originators of Postballet, an approach that expands the rigors of ballet technique with the contemporary practices of improvisation, embodiment, and interdisciplinary conceptualism.
The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) is one of the largest Hellenic heritage groups in the world and is a major community service organization in North America. Included in the AHEPA Family is the women's group, Daughters of Penelope; the Sons of Pericles (the junior order of AHEPA); and the Maids of Athena (the junior order of the Daughters of Penelope). While founded in the United States in 1922, the AHEPA organization has branched out to include chapters throughout Canada, Greece, Cyprus, New Zealand and Australia.
